COVID-19 cases in Ethiopia cross 1000

According to a daily report released by the Minister of Health Dr. Lia Tadesse, 95 people have tested positive over the past 24 hours, making the total number of COVID-19 cases to 1063. 

As of 30 May, 2020, Ethiopia has conducted a total of 106,615 tests and confirmed eight COVID-19 related deaths since the first case on 13 March 2020. A total of 208 people have also been recovered from COVID-19.

The Minister called on the public to strictly adhere all the precaution measures. "We need to be reminded that every single action we take determines the risk of contracting the virus," she said.
