More than 400 UN staff took part in today’s national campaign, which aims to plant 200 million seedlings a day.
The United Nations Resident Coordinator, Mr. Aeneas Chuma, called for strengthened role of the private sector for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
Her Majesty Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA), visited Ethiopia.
More than 1000 young graduates took part in the UN Career Fair which was aimed to provide a learning and information sharing platform for the youth.
The 26th edition of World Press Freedom Day was celebrated in Ethiopia from 1-3 May 2019 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
